| Microcrystalline chitosan is made from natural polymer chitosan.The quality of the product is influenced by several factors, including the concentration of chitosan, degradation time and temperature, the concentration of the aqueous NaOH solution and using of supersonic degradation technique, and so on. Under the optimum conditions of each factor, we can obtain the product of microcrystalline chitosan with CrI (crystallinity index) beyond 85%. |
