A novel method for determination of potassium ethyl xanthogenate in acetone-ammonia media by potentiometric titration, which employs the silver ion selective electrode as indicative electrode and the saturated calomel electrode as referred electrode, was developed. The test conditions were investigated. The experimental results under optimal conditions showed that the method was simple fast with keen titration end point. It has been applied to determine potassium ethyl xanthogenate with satisfactory results, the relative standard deviations didn’t exceed 0.50%. |
