The article introduces the concept of the minus edge total domination in graphs,by the method of departing the edge set of a graph.Some lower bounds for the minus edge total domination numbers of general graphs are obtained.The problems on the minus edge total domination for several kind of special graphs are studied,and minus edge total domination numbers of the paths,cycles and the wheels are determined.
