| The paper analyses the main problems in Fayuan region based on specific site surveys,research and interviews and presents a feasibility proposal to improve neighborhood environment from the perspective of urban design.In the author’s opinion,protective development,which tries to seek a balance among conservation,community life and business development,is a valid path to solve the problems faced by us in renovation of old cities. |
