In order to study the performance of gasoline engine fueled with methanol and methanol gasoline, power, economy and emission characteristics of methanol and different volume ratio of methanol gasoline were compared in a 4G15S gasoline engine. Results show that: compared with the burning 93# gasoline, power of M15, M85 and M100 increased; consumption of M15 efficient fuel rose by an average of 4. 43%, M85 rose by an average of 46. 53%, M100 rose by an average of 57. 26%; HC and CO emissions of M15, M85 and M100 decreased with the increase of methanol volume fraction; while the emission of formaldehyde increased with the increase of methanol volume ratio. |
