Air-cooled nickel slag was used as coarse and fine aggregate instead of limestone crushed stone and river sand to prepare concrete, and the influence of nickel slag aggregate on compressive strength of concrete was studied. The results show that the hardness of nickel slag coarse aggregate is high, and replacing limestone crushed stone can improve the compressive strength of concrete. When the dosage is 50%, the compressive strength growth rate is 13. 74%. However, the dosage of nickel slag coarse aggregate is not easy to be too high, otherwise it will cause a decrease in concrete strength. Nickel slag fine aggregate is a fine particle produced in the process of crushing nickel slag coarse aggregate, which is soft in texture. After replacing natural river sand, the strength of concrete will decrease. By finely controlling the mix proportion of coarse and fine aggregates and adjusting the mix proportion, the resource application of nickel slag in cement concrete production can be realized. |
