| Upper-deck reinforced concrete arch bridges, due to their large self-weight and long span, impose extremely high requirements on the bearing capacity and stability of temporary support systems. Taking the Shuaishui River Bridge located in Fufeng Town, Qimen County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province as the engineering background, and combining construction analysis and structural calculation, a three-dimensional solid model of the temporary support system was established using the Midas Civil 2024 finite element analysis software to calculate the strength, stiffness, and stability of the temporary support system. The results show that the maximum combined stress of each member in the temporary support system is -220.1 MPa (at the Bailey beam), which is far lower than the design strength value of 305 MPa for Q345 steel used in the project. The maximum overall deformation of the temporary support system is 22.3 mm, and the maximum vertical, transverse (bridge direction), and longitudinal (bridge direction) deformations are -17.6 mm, 19.5 mm, and 5.2 mm, respectively, all of which are much smaller than the allowable deflection limit of L/400 during the construction stage. |
